4     Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee for Recording Assignments of Non-regular Employees” page.

4     Select  “Request to Edit/Delete Non-Regular Employee’s Assignment” from the bottom left of the multiline.

4     The “Request to Edit/Delete Non-Regular Employee’s Assignment” page appears.

4     The system displays the following fields.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user. More Details.

Employee

The code of the employee.

Date of Joining

The date and time, in which the selected employee joined the organization, is displayed.

Assignment No

The non-regular employee assignment number that has been allocated for an employee, in sequential order. The value in this field is system generated.

Assignment Type

The type of assignment undertaken by the employee.

Reason for Change in Assignment

Select the reason for change in assignment from the drop-down list box.

Assignment Effective From

The date and time from which the non-regular employee assignment defined for the employee, must be activated. The date and time of joining is displayed in this field, by default. These details are fetched from “Employee Personal Information” component.

Assignment Effective To

The date and time until which the non-regular employee assignment defined for the employee, must be in effect.

Position

The position code for the selected employee. You cannot define the position for which you do not have access permissions.

4     Select the Get Position Details pushbutton to view the details related to position.

Employment Unit

The employment unit selected in the previous page. Tell me more.

Regulatory region          

The region governed by a common law.

Business Unit

The business unit of the employee.

Work location

The work location where the organization is located.

Company

The company to which the employee belongs.

4     Specifying hierarchy point

Hierarchy Short Description

A short description for the hierarchy.

Hierarchy Chain

The hierarchy code of the employee.

Department

The department code to which the employee belongs.

Help available.

Cost Center

The description of the cost center to which the function’s costs are currently assigned. This field is displayed based on the function code, you specify.

4     Specifying job attributes

Job

The job code for the selected employee is displayed.

4     Select the Get Job Details pushbutton to view the details related to job.

Job Description

The job type for the selected employee is displayed. Example: regular, part time.

Job family

The job family to which the selected employee belongs.

Grade set

The grade set code for the selected employee. 

Job Classification

The job classification for the selected employee is displayed. Example: permanent, temporary, contract.

Workers Compensation code

The code pertaining to the workers compensation is displayed.

Standard Hours

The standard hours for which the employee is required to work.

Medical check Required

Indicate whether a medical check is required for the selected employee.

Job Level Description

The description of the job level to which the selected employee belongs.

Workers Compensation code

The code pertaining to the workers compensation is displayed.

Standard Hours

The standard hours for which the employee is required to work.

Medical check Required

Indicate whether a medical check is required for the selected employee.

Tipped

Specify whether the employee is tipped or not.

Job Level

The level of the job to which the selected employee belongs.

EEO Class

The Equal Employment Opportunity classification, which is captured as part of Job Information.

Grade

The grade code for the selected employee is displayed.

Working Condition

The working condition of the employee’s work place.

Salaried/hourly

Specify whether the employee is paid on a salary basis or hourly basis.

Work Experience

Select the number of years of work experience of the employee from the drop-down list box.

Medical check requirements

The medical check requirements pertaining to the employee.

Mobile

The mobile number of the employee.

FTE

Full Time Equivalent of the job (If the regular working hours are 8 hrs/day, and if two employees are employed part-time for 4 hours and 6 hours respectively, then their FTE would be 0.5 and 0.75 respectively).

Full time/part time

Specify whether the selected employee is working on a full time or part time basis.

Regular/Temporary

Specify whether the selected employee is hired on a regular or temporary basis.

4     Specify reporting to

Supervisor

The employee code of the supervisor of the selected employee.

Assignment No

The assignment number of the supervisor.

Department     

The department to which the supervisor belongs.

Position             Title

The position title of the supervisor.

Job Title

The job title of the supervisor.

4     Specify Benefit-related Information

Union Affiliation

The union to which the employee belongs, in the organization.

Group

The group of the union to which the employee belongs.

Description

The description of the union given by the user.

Request for Deletion

Choose “Correct” if the change is not to be reflected in History Information, or ‘Update” if it is to be a part of History Information.

Authorization Status

One of the following options is displayed: “Pending Authorization”, “Authorized” or “Rejected”. ” If it is:

§          “Pending authorization”, it denotes that the non-regular employee-assignment is yet to be authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity.

§          “Authorized”, it denotes that the non-regular employee-assignment has been authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity.

§          Rejected”, it denotes that the non-regular employee-assignment is rejected.

 

Rejection Reason

The reason for rejection is displayed. Example: Incorrect information given. This field is mandatory if the record is rejected.

Comments                       

Any comments pertaining to the non-regular employee’s assignment information.

 

4     Select the Save Request pushbutton to save the request.

4     Select the Cancel Request pushbutton to cancel the request.
