Date of Joining |

Assignment No |
The primary assignment number that has been allocated for an employee, in sequential order. The value in this field is system generated. |
Employee Status |
The value “Current” or “Terminated” is displayed in this field. If it is: |

“Current”, it denotes that the employee is still working in the organization. |

“Terminated”, it denotes that the employee is no longer employed with the organization. In case of termination, the primary assignment record cannot be modified. |
Effective From |
The date and time from which the primary assignment defined for the employee, must be activated. The date and time of joining is displayed in this field, by default. These details are fetched from “Employee Personal Information” component. |
Effective To |
The date until which the primary assignment defined for the employee will be in effect. |
Assignment Type |
The type of assignment undertaken by the employee. One of the following options is displayed: “New Hire”, “Rehire” or “Change in Assignment”. If it is: § “New Hire”, it denotes that the employee is new to the organization. § “Re-Hire”, it indicates that the employee has been hired again after leaving the organization. |
Position |
The position code of the employee. |
Reason for Change in Assignment |
The reason for change in assignment. Example: change in function and position. |

4 Request for Deletion of Latest Record
Modification Option |
Choose “Correct” if the change is not to be reflected in History Information, or ‘Update” if it is to be a part of History Information. |
New Effective From |
Must necessarily be entered if the ‘Modification Option’ is “Update”. |
Authorization Status |
One of the following options is displayed: “Pending Authorization”, “Authorized” or “Rejected”. ” If it is: § “Pending authorization”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping is yet to be authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity. § “Authorized”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping has been authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity. § Rejected”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping has been rejected.
