4     Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee for Recording Secondary Assignment” page.

4     The “Request to Create Secondary Assignment” page appears.

4     Select “Record Assignment Qualification” hyperlink from the bottom right of the page.

4     The “Request to Record Assignment Qualification” page appears.

4     The system displays the following fields.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user. More Details.

Employment Unit

The employment unit as specified in the “Select Employee to record secondary assignment” page.

Employee Code

The unique code of the employee.

Assignment No

The assignment number that has been allocated for the employee. 

Position Title

The position title you selected in the “Select Employee to record secondary assignment” page.

Job Title

The job title you selected in the “Select Employee to record secondary assignment” page.

Employee Type

The type of employee for example, regular, trainee or contractual.      

Department   

The department to which the employee belongs.

 

4     The following multiline displays the details related to Qualification.

Qualification Code

The unique code of the qualification.

Help available.

Qualification Description

The description of the qualification, for example, MBBS, and MBA applicable to the selected qualification code.

Qualification Type

The type of the qualification, for example, License, Certification and Degree applicable to the selected qualification code.

Qualification Level

The level of qualification. For example, graduation, post graduation or doctoral (Quick coded).

Specialization   

The specific area of study. For example, if the qualification specified is engineering, indicate the specific area as Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

Mandatory   

A “Yes” or “No” is displayed.  If it is:

 

§          “Yes”, it denotes that the particular competency is mandatory for the employee to complete the assignment.

 

§          “No”, it denotes that the particular competency is not mandatory for the employee to complete the assignment.

Request Status

One of the following options displayed: “Request for Addition”, “ Request for Deletion” and  “Request for Editing”

Authorization Status

One of the following options is displayed: “Pending Authorization”, “Authorized” or “Rejected”. If it is:

 

§          “Pending authorization”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping is yet to be authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity.

 

§          “Authorized”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping has been authorized through the “Authorize Employment Information” activity.

 

§          “Rejected”, it denotes that the employee-assignment competency mapping has been rejected.

Rejection Reason

The reason for rejection is displayed. Example: Incorrect information given.

4     Select the Save Request pushbutton to save the request.

4     Select the Cancel Request pushbutton to cancel the request.

To proceed

4     Select the “Record Award Details” link from the “Request to Create Secondary Assignment” page.
