Selecting Disciplinary Action to Record Activity Details
Select the “Record Disciplinary Action Activity Details” link from the left pane.
The “Select Disciplinary Action to Record Activity Details” page appears.
The system displays the following
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
To select through Direct Entry
Disciplinary Action No. |
Enter the number of disciplinary action for which you require to record disciplinary action activity details. The disciplinary action number refers to the unique number that is generated when the disciplinary action details are submitted in the “Record Disciplinary Action” activity. |
Select “Record Activity Details” link in the “Select Disciplinary Action to Record Activity Details” page.
The “Record Disciplinary Action Activity Details” page appears.
To select through Search Criteria
In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list, select the employment unit of the employee. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment Information component |
Employee Code |
To retrieve the records of disciplinary action whose employee codes contain specific characters, type in the character(s) in any combination with wild cards. Example, ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
To retrieve the records of disciplinary action whose employee names contain specific characters, type in the character(s) of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. Example, Rob*, will search for those employee names that start with Rob. Other examples are *Rob and R*b*. |
Assignment No. |
To retrieve the records of disciplinary action with a specific assignment number, type in the assignment number. Alternatively, type in the digit(s) in any combination with wild cards. |
Disciplinary Action No. |
To retrieve all disciplinary action records whose disciplinary action number contains a specific string, type in this string in combination with a wild card. |
Disciplinary Action Type |
To retrieve all disciplinary action records of a specific type, select the disciplinary action type. For example, if you select “Criminal“ from the drop-down list box, the system will retrieve all those disciplinary action records of the type “Criminal”. |
Disciplinary Action Status |
To retrieve all disciplinary action records of a specific status, select the disciplinary action status. For example, if you select “Open”, the system will retrieve disciplinary action records whose status is ”Open”. |
Submission Date |
To retrieve the records of disciplinary action submitted on a particular date, enter the submission date in the format “dd/mm/yyyy”. |
Disciplinary Action Initiated by |
To retrieve the disciplinary action records of the employee who initiated the disciplinary action, type in the character(s) in any combination with wild cards or enter the employee name. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following information for each record that satisfies your search criteria.
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs |
Employee Code |
The employee code of the employee |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee |
Assign. |
The assignment number of the employee. |
Disciplinary Action No. |
The unique disciplinary action number generated by the system when the disciplinary action record was submitted. |
Disciplinary Action Type |
The type of disciplinary action can be user-defined. For example, Behavioral / Criminal. |
Disciplinary Action Status |
The status of the disciplinary action can be one of the following: “Open”, “Closed” or any other user defined status. |
Submission Date |
The date on which the disciplinary action was submitted. |
Scheduled Date |
The date on which the disciplinary action activities are scheduled to be completed. |
Disciplinary Action Initiated by |
The name of the employee who initiated the disciplinary action. |
Reason |
The reason for initiating the disciplinary action. |
Action Details |
The details of the disciplinary action to be taken. For example, the action taken can be suspension of the employee for a period of 1 month. |
Select the hyperlinked “Disciplinary Action No.” field in the multiline, for the record to be selected.
The “Record Activity Details “ page appears.
