Basics of using a typical web page

Using online help

The system displays the following detail at the top right of the page.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details.

Employee Code

To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1.

Employee Name

To view all the employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names.

 

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*.

Date of Joining From

The date on or after which the employee joined the organization.

Date of Joining To

The date  before which the employee joined the organization.

Note: To perform an effective search, enter maximum number of fields in the search criteria .

The system displays the following details in the "Employee Details" multiline.

Employee  Code

The unique code of the employee.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Date of Joining

The date on which the employee joined the organization.

Time of Joining

The time at which the employee joined the organization.
