Help On Employee
This page helps you to search and select the employee details for transferring the details to the field where it is required. You can search for the employees based on the search criteria such as employment unit, employee code, employee name, skill code, applicable resource group, certification category, license category, certificate class, certificate number, work center, aircraft model number, task, base part number and standard procedure. The system retrieves all the employees based on the search criteria entered. You can select a particular employee from the multiline. Upon confirmation, the selected employee code is transferred to the required screen.
Click the lens icon positioned next to employee in the main page.
The “Help On Employee” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details. |
Enter the following field:
Employment Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the desired employment unit group from which the employee records must be retrieved. Typically, the Employee Unit will be the Organization Unit. The system retrieves all the employees belonging to the employment unit selected here. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search criteria” group box:
Employee Code |
The code identifying the employee (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the employee code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees with code similar to the code entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the code. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee (Alphanumeric, 77). You can enter the employee name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees with name similar to the name entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the name. |
Skill Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the skill code. The system lists all the skill codes defined for the employment unit in the “Maintain Skills” activity of the “HR Setup” business component. The system retrieves all the employees with skill code selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the skill code. |
Applicable Resource Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the resource group for which the skill is applicable. The system lists the options “Inspector & Mechanic”, “Inspector”, “Mechanic” and “Others”. The system retrieves all the employees with applicable resource group selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the applicable resource group. |
Certification Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the certification category applicable to the employee. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Certification Category” defined in the “Maintain HR Quick Codes” activity of the “HR Setup” business component. The system retrieves all the employees with certification category selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the certification category. |
License Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the license category applicable to the employee. The system lists all the quick codes of type “License Category” defined in the “Maintain HR Quick Codes” activity of the “HR Setup” business component. The system retrieves all the employees with license category selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the license category. |
Certificate Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the certificate class applicable to the employee. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Certificate Class” defined in the “Maintain HR Quick Codes” activity of the “HR Setup” business component. The system retrieves all the employees with certificate class selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the certificate class. |
Certificate # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the certificate number of the employee. The system lists allthe certificate numbers defined for the employment unit in the “Maintain Certificate Information” activity of the “HR Setup” business component. The system retrieves all the employees with certificate number selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the certificate number. |
Work Center |
The number identifying the work center to which the employee belongs (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the work center number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees belonging to the work center specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the work centers irrespective of the work center number. |
Aircraft Model # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model to which the employee is applicable. The system lists all the “Active” aircraft models applicable for the employment unit as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. The system retrieves all the employees applicable to the aircraft model selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the aircraft model. |
Task |
The number identifying the task to which the employee is associated (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the task number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees associated to the task number similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the task. |
Base Part # |
The number identifying the base part applicable for the employee (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the base part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees associated to the base part number similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the base part number. |
Standard Procedure |
The number identifying the standard procedure to which the employee is associated (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the standard procedure number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the employees associated to the standard procedure specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the employees irrespective of the standard procedure. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the employee records based on the search criteria entered.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Skill Code |
The skill code of the employee. |
Applicable Resource Group |
The applicable resource group of the employee, which could be “Inspector & Mechanic”, “Mechanic, “Inspector” or “Others”. |
Job Description |
The description of the job of the employee. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the employee record.
Click the “OK” pushbutton, to transfer the selected employee record to the main page.
