Copy Schedule / Layout – A summary of the activity

You can select the organization unit or the company and the finance book to which the details must be copied. Irrespective of whether you are copying a schedule or layout, the account codes that are available in the schedule or layout must also be present in the destination finance book. The account codes must be in an “Active” status. If the sub schedule or the schedule that is being copied exists in the destination finance book, it must be deleted before preceding the copy process. You can enter a new unique schedule or layout number and description for the copied schedule or layout.
What you can do in this activity
To save time schedules created in a finance book can be copied into another finance book in the same login organization unit or in another organization unit. Schedules can also be copied from one company to another. All the account codes that are present in the schedule that is being copied must also be available in the finance book in which the copy is being saved. A new schedule number and description is given for the schedule in the new finance book.
