This page allows you to view the status of the business function group. You can select the business function group for which you want to view the status. You can also select the organization unit in which the business function group is available, the code identifying the finance book, the financial year and period when the business function group has been closed. The system retrieves the details of the business function groups based on the combination of the organization unit, finance book, financial year and period selected.
Select the “BFG Closure Status” link under the “Financial Calendar Closure” business component.
The “View Business Function Group Closure Status” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Business Function Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select the business function group. All the business function group (BFG) that are available for the company will be available for the selection in the ascending order.” |

Org. Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit. All the organization units mapped to the BFGs will appear for selection. |

Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book for which you want to view the closure status. All the finance books that have been mapped to the “Finance Book Processing” business component corresponding to this Financial Calendar Closure” business component and mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |

Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year. All the financial years till the login date will be available for selection in the chronological order. The system displays the earliest “Open” financial year by default on launch of the page. |

Financial Period |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period for which the selected finance book has been closed. All the financial periods available for the selected financial year till the login date will be available for selection in the chronological order. The system displays the earliest “Open” financial period by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the details of the business function group.
The system displays the following in the “Business Function Group Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Business Function Group |
The name identifying the business function group. |
|
Org Unit |
The organization unit. |
|
Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book. |
|
Financial Period |
The code identifying the financial period. |
|
Status |
The status of the financial period. It could be “Open”, “Closed”, “Provisionally Closed” or “Closed for MAC”. |
|
Closed By |
The login ID of the user who has closed the financial period / year. |
|
Closed Date |
The date on which the financial period / year has been closed. |
