This page allows you to view the list of errors that have occurred while closing a finance book. You can view the error details that have occurred during the “Provisional Closure”, “Closure for MAC” and “Final Closure”. You can select the type of the book, the code identifying the finance book and the type of the closure for which you want to view the error details. You can also select the financial year and the financial period during the closure of which the errors have occurred.
Select the “Error Details” link at the bottom of the “Close Finance Book” page.
The “View Error Details” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Book Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the book for which you want to view the details of the error that have occurred during the closure. “Posting Finance Book”, “Main Finance Book” and “Consolidation Finance Book” will be available for selection if finance books of these types have been deployed in the login organization unit. |

Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book for which you want to view the error details. All the finance books of the selected type that have been deployed in the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. |

Closure Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of closure for the finance book during which the errors have occurred. You can select from “Provisional Closure”, “Closure for MAC” and “Final Closure” which are available in the ascending order. |
Note: “Closure for MAC” will be available for selection only if the parameter “Period Closing Required for MAC” has been set to “Yes” at the company level.

Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year for which you want to view the error details. All the financial years that have been defined for the selected finance book and that are in the “Open” or “Provisionally Closed” or “Closed for MAC” status will be available for selection in the chronological order. The start date and the end date of the financial year will also be displayed. |

Financial Period |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period for which you want to view the error details. All the financial periods that have been defined for the selected financial year and that are in the “Open”, “Provisionally Closed or “Closed for MAC” status will be available for selection in the chronological order. The start date and the end date of the financial period will also be displayed. |
Note: The current financial period will not be available for selection.
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the error details.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Error Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Error ID |
The code identifying the error that has occurred. |

Error Description |
The textual description of the error. |
