Viewing exchange rates for financial year / period

This page allows you to view the exchange rates for a selected financial year or period. You can view the exchanges based on the selected currency combination and the exchange rate type. The exchange rate will be displayed along with the calendar end date and the percentage or flat amount set as tolerance.

Select the “Period / Year-End Rates” link at the bottom of the ““View Exchange Rates by Date” page.

The “View Period / Year-End Rates” page appears.

Enter the following fields to retrieve the exchange rates for a selected financial year or period.

Financial Year Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the financial year in which you want to view the exchange rates. All the financial years that are available for the company will be available for selection.
Financial Period Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the financial period in which you want to view the exchange rates. All the financial periods defined for the selected financial year will be available for selection.
From Currency	Use the drop-down list box to select the currency for which you want to view the exchange rate. All the “Active” currencies that have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. The system displays “Blank” by default at the launch of the page.
To Currency	Use the drop-down list box to select the currency to which the currency selected in the “From Currency” field is converted to. All the “Active” currencies that have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. The base currency of the company will be displayed by default at the launch of the page.
Exchange Rate Type Description	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of exchange rate for which you want to view the exchange rates. All the exchange rate types that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection. The system displays the exchange rate type set as default on launch of the page.

Click the “Get Exchange Rates” pushbutton to retrieve the exchange rates.

The system displays the following in the “Exchange Rates” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Financial Year	The code identifying the financial year for which the exchange rates are retrieved.
Financial Period	The code identifying the financial period for which the exchange rates are retrieved.
Financial Calendar End Date	The last date of the financial calendar in which the selected financial year is available.
Exchange Rate	The exchange rate available for the currency combination.
Tolerance %	The percentage of variation in the exchange rates for the given combination of currencies that will be permitted during transactions.
Tolerance Limit	The absolute amount of variation in the exchange rates for the given combination of currencies that will be permitted during transactions.
