This Help page allows you to search and select a currency and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can search by specifying the code identifying the ISO country, the description of the currency, the symbol identifying the currency and the numeric ISO currency code. The system retrieves all the ISO currency codes that are in the “Active” status. The selected currency code is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Currency Code” field.
The “Help on Currency” page.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a currency:
ISO Country Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the ISO country for which you want to retrieve the currency. All the “Active” country codes will be available for selection in the ascending order. |
Currency Description |
The textual description of the currency that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Numeric ISO Currency Code |
The numeric ISO code identifying the currency that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 5). |
Currency Symbol |
The symbol identifying the currency code that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 5). |
Currency Sub-units |
The number of smaller units of denomination, which when grouped together, form one unit of the currency that you want to retrieve (Integer). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:
ISO Currency Code |
The code identifying the ISO currency. |
Numeric ISO Currency Code |
The numeric ISO code identifying the currency. |
Currency Symbol |
The symbol identifying the currency code. |
Currency Description |
The textual description of the currency. |
Currency Sub-units |
The number of smaller units of denomination, which when grouped together, form one unit of the currency. |
Currency Sub-unit Description |
The textual description of the sub units. |
Number of Units |
The number of units of this currency for which the exchange rate is quoted in the foreign exchange market. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a currency code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
