This activity allows you to modify the description of the selected exchange rate types. You can modify the description of the exchange rate types that are user defined and in an “Active” status. The modified description must be unique. The system stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified details.

The “Edit Exchange Rate Type” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status of the exchange rate type. It must be “Active”.

 
  • Active – indicates that the exchange rate type is in use.

Exchange Rate Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the exchange rate type for which you want to modify the description. All the exchange rate types that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection. The system displays the exchange rate type set as default in the “Set Function Defaults” page.

Exchange Rate Type Description

A unique textual description of the exchange rate type (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The system displays the description of the exchange rate type that has been set as default in the “Set Function Defaults” page.

The system saves the modifications made to the selected user defined exchange rate type.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The login ID of the user who has created the exchange rate type.

Created Date

The date on which the exchange rate type was created.

Last Modified By

The login user ID of the user who last modified the exchange rate type.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the exchange rate type was last modified.
