Help on Identification Details

This Help page allows you to search and select an identification number and transfer the details to the field where it is required.

You can search by specifying the company, business unit and organization unit for which you want to retrieve the identification number. You can also search by specifying the identifier for which you want to retrieve the identification details. The system retrieves the identification numbers based on the search criteria entered. The selected identification number is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Identification Number” field.

The “Help on Identification Details” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an identification number.

Company Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which you want to retrieve the identification numbers. All the companies that have been created for the installation and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection. The system displays the code identifying the login company by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following:

Company Name

The name of the company.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.

Business Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit for which you want to retrieve the identification numbers. All the business units that have been created for the selected company and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection.

The system displays the following:

Business Unit Name

The name of the business unit.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box.

Org. Unit	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the organization unit for which you want to retrieve the identification numbers. All the organization units that have been created for the selected business unit and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection.
Identifier	Use the drop-down list box to select the identifier for which identification number is available. It could be “Location Identifier”, “Tax Identification Reference”, “Company Identification Reference” or “Supply Chain Reference”.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Identification Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Applicable Identification Reference	A unique reference agency for which an identification number is being entered, for example, a D-U-N-S number.
Description	The description of the identification reference.
Identification No	A unique number given by the reference agency.
Default	Indicates whether the identification number must be used as a standard identifier for the organization unit.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select an identification number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
