This Help page allows you to search and select a finance book and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can search by specifying the business unit and the organization unit for which you want to retrieve the finance book. The system retrieves the finance books based on the search criteria entered. The selected finance book is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Finance Book” field.
The “Help on Finance Book” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a finance book:

Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit for which you want to retrieve the finance books. All the business units that have been created for the login company and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection. |
The system displays the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Business Unit Name |
The name of the business unit. |
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Org Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the organization unit for which you want to retrieve the finance books. All the organization units that have been created for the selected business unit and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection. |
The system displays the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Company Name |
The name of the login company. |
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Finance Book Details” multiline:

Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book. |

Finance Book Description |
The textual description of the finance book. |
|
Status |
The status of the finance book mapping. It must be “Mapped” or “Unmapped ”. |

Start Date |
The date from which the status of the finance book is effective. |
|
End Date |
The date till which the status of the finance book is effective. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a finance book.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
