This page allows you to maintain the address details of the various locations in which the company’s various offices are situated. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain Address Details” link under the “Organization Setup” business component.
The “Maintain Address Details” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Address Identity” group box:
Address ID |
A unique code identifying the address (Alphanumeric, 12). Mandatory. |
The system retrieves the corresponding description and the address details in the respective fields. |

Description |
A textual description of the address ID (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |
Enter the following fields in the “Address Details” group box:
Address |
The complete mailing address of one of the organizations various locations (Alphanumeric, 120). Mandatory. |
City |
The city in which one of the organizations location is available (Alphanumeric, 40). |
State |
The state in which the city is located (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Country |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the country in which the state is located. All the countries that have been defined in the country entity will be available for selection. The system displays “United States” by default at the launch of the page. |
Zip |
The zip code of the area in which the one of the organizations location is available (Alphanumeric, 20). |
Tax Region |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax region associated with the address ID. The drop-down list box displays the values defined for the Active quick codes under the entity 'Tax Region' in the Create Quick Codes activity of the Quick Codes component of Finance Setup |
Phone |
The contact phone number along with the country code and the area code (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Fax |
The fax number along with the country code and the area code (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Telex |
The telex number of the location (Alphanumeric, 20). |
URL |
The URL or the web site address of the location (Alphanumeric, 50). |
Mail stop |
The mail stop ID the location (Alphanumeric, 20). |
Click the “Create Address” pushbutton to create the address.
The system stores the address details in the address entity.
The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Created by” and the “Created Date” fields.
Click the “Update Address” pushbutton to update the modified address.
The system stores the modified address details in the address entity.
The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date in the “Last Modified by” and the “Last Modified Date” fields.
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The login ID of the user who entered the address details. |
Created Date |
The date on which the address details were created. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the address details. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the address details were last modified. |
