Help on Base Screen Publication Links

This page allows you to search the required published link details for the specified attached base screen. The user can search by specifying published link name, link ID, control name and view name. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves and displays the corresponding details and displays them in the multiline. The selected published link and its corresponding details are transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.

Prerequisites:

4 Base Component details for the attached screen component should be already available

Click next to the “Attached UI Published Link Name” field.

The “Help on Base Screen Publication Links” page appears.

The following details are displayed in the header from the main page:

Component	The name of the attached Base component.
Activity	The name of the attached Base activity.
User Interface	The name of the attached Base user interface in the activity.

Enter the following search criteria:

Published Link Name	The name of the published link whose details you want to retrieve. You can specify the name fully or partially using the “*” as wild card character.
Published Link ID	The ID of the published link whose details you want to retrieve. You can specify the ID fully or partially using the “*” as wild card character.
Control Name	The name of the control for which you want to retrieve the list of published links. You can specify the name fully or partially using the “*” as wild card character.
View Name	The name of the control view for which you want to retrieve the list of published links. You can specify the name fully or partially using the “*”as wild card character.

Click “Search”.

The system retrieves and displays the published link details in the multiline based on the specified search criteria.

Published Link ID	The number that identifies the published link for the user interface.
Published Link Name	The name of the published link for the user interface.
Published Link Description	The description of the published link for the user interface.

Click the checkbox next to the published link ID in the multiline to select the published link details.
Click “OK” to transfer the data.
