Generating Report on tax – transactions
This report allows you to view details of the transactions for which TCD has been applied .
Select the “Report on tax – transactions” link under the “EDK – Reports Book Keeping” business component.
The “Report on tax - transactions” page appears.
Enter the following:
Company |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code of the company for which the tax transaction report must be viewed. The system lists the login OU company. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book for which the tax transaction report must be viewed. All the finance books under the selected company, mapped for the login OU company are available. |
Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency in which the report is to be generated. Only the base currency of the selected company is available. |
Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial year of the company for which you want to view the report. All the financial years till the current financial year will be available for selection in the ascending order. By default the system displays the financial year corresponding to the current date. |
Financial Period |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period. The system lists all the periods applicable for the selected financial year. By default the system displays the financial period corresponding to the current date. |
Account Code From: |
The starting code in the range of account codes from which the report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 32). Help facility available |
Account Code To: |
The ending code in the range of account codes till which the report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 32). Help facility available |
Note: The system displays an error message if the “Code From” is greater than “Code To”.
Transaction Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of transaction. The system lists “Purchase”, “Sales” and “All”. By default the system displays “All”. The system generates the report for the documents belonging to the category you specify here. |
Transaction Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the transaction type. The system displays a list of transaction types based on the transaction category selected. The transaction types of the document for which the report is to be viewed based on the transaction category. By default the system displays blank. |
TCD Code: |
The identification code of the TCD that has been applied on the transaction Mandatory (Alphanumeric, 25). |
Variant |
The unique identification code of the tax variant that has been applied Mandatory (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Tax Key |
The unique identification key for the TCD and Variant combination (Alphanumeric, 15). |
Tax type |
The system lists all the tax types defined in the selected company. The system lists all the tax types that are mapped to the login OU. Select a value from the drop-down list box, if “Statutory Tax Accounting & Computation required” is applicable for the selected company only. By default the system displays a blank. |
Tax nature |
Use the drop-down list box to select the nature of tax for which the report is to be generated. The system lists the nature of the tax, depending on the transaction category that are mapped to the login OU. Select a value if the ‘Statutory Tax Accounting & Computation required’ is applicable for the selected company only. By default the system displays blank. |
Tax category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax category for which the report is to be generated. The system lists the tax categories pertaining to the transaction category and the tax type you selected. Select a value if the ‘Statutory Tax Accounting & Computation required’ is applicable for the selected company only. By default the system displays a blank. |
Tax Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax class for which the report is to be generated. The system lists the class of the tax, whether “goods” or “services”. That are mapped to the login OU. Select a value if the ‘Statutory Tax Accounting & Computation required’ is applicable for the selected company only. By default the system displays blank. |
Control Total by |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of code. as either “TCD Code-wise” or “Account Code-wise”. By default the system displays “TCD Code-wise”. The system generates the report Account-Code wise or TCD Code-wise, based on your choice |
Sort by |
Use the drop-down list box to select the option by which to sort. The system lists “Transaction date” and “TCD code”. By default the system displays “Transaction date”. |
Click the “View Transaction Details” pushbutton, to view details for the selected TCD Code during the financial period.
Click the “View Account Details” pushbutton, to view the total debit, credit and balance amounts for the selected period.
