This report tracks the outstanding from a customer, based on the credit buckets defined earlier.

The “Customer Ageing Analysis Report” page appears.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book for which customer ageing details have to be viewed. The system lists all the finance books created in the login organization unit of the company for the selected business unit.

The system displays “All” by default.

Date

The date for which the customer ageing analysis report has to be generated.

By default the system displays the current system date.

Customer Group

Use the drop-down list box to specify the customer group for which customer ageing details have to be viewed. The system lists all the customer groups defined in the “Customer” business component. By default, the system sets the field to “All”.

Customer Name

The name of the customer for whom the report must be generated (Alphanumeric 120).  You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.  The system leaves the field blank by default.

Customer Code From

The first customer code, in the range of customer codes, for which you wish to view the customer ageing report (Alphanumeric, 18). The system leaves this field blank by default.

Customer Code To

The last customer code, in the range of customer codes, for which you wish to view the customer ageing report (Alphanumeric,18, 18). The system leaves this field blank by default.

Ensure that the  "Customer Code To” is greater than or equal to "Customer Code From".

Transaction Currency

Use the drop-down list box to specify the transaction currency. Transactions those made in the selected currency will be displayed in the report. The system lists the option “ALL” along with all the currency codes mapped to the login organization unit in the “Organization Setup” business component. The system displays “ALL” by default.

Display Currency

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of currency in which the report must be generated.

The system lists the following options:

  • Transaction Currency – Select this option to generate values in transaction currency.

  • Tran. and Base Currency – Select this option to generate values in both transaction and base currencies.

  • Base Currency – Select this option to generate the values in base currency.

Note: On selection of Tran. and Base Currency, Age based on, Additional Attributes and Addl. Search are available. However, these three fields are greyed out, if you have selected Transaction Currency or Base Currency.

The system displays “Transaction Currency” by default.

Age Based on

Use the drop-down list box to select the date type based on which customers with pending payments must be retrieved in the report. The drop-down list box displays the following: Due Date and Invoice Date.

Note: The system considers Due Date as Anchor Date + Pay Term.

Additional Attributes

Use the first drop-down list box to select the additional category of the customer. The drop-down list box displays all additional categories defined in the Edit Customer Additional Information activity of Customer.

The second drop-down list box displays all attributes defined under category selected in the first drop-down list box.

The third drop-down list box displays the value for the attribute.

The search retrieves those customers that are associated with the value that you specify.

Note: This field is applicable only if Display Currency is Tran. and Base Currency.

Addl. Search by

Use the first drop-down list box to select the additional category of the customer. The drop-down list box displays the following: Contact category.

Use the second drop-down list box to select a contact category. The drop-down list box displays Cust. Service Rep. and all Active category codes defined for category type "Contact Category" in the “Maintain Category Code” activity of Category.

Use the third drop-down list box to select the employee associated with the contact category.

The search retrieves those customers associated with the contact person that you select here.

Note: This field is applicable only if Display Currency is Tran. and Base Currency.

Account Type

Specify the account type for which the report is to be generated.  Check any of the following check boxes, to specify the account type.

  • Receivables - Check this option if the report must be generated with only receivables transactions.

  • Prepayment – Check this option if the report must be generated with only prepayment transactions.

  • Deposit – Check this option if the report must be generated with only deposit transactions.

By default, the system displays all of the check boxes mentioned above as checked.

Note: The unadjusted or unpaid amount does not include payment or adjustment transactions made after the specified date.

The system generates the customer ageing report for all the customers specified by the range entered here.

Report Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of customer ageing report to be generated. The system lists the following options:

  • Detail – Select this option to generate a detailed customer ageing report.

  • Summary – Select this option to generate a summary of the report.

By default the system sets the field as “Summary”.

Sort Option

Use the drop-down list box to specify the order in which the report must be generated.

The system lists the following options:

  • Customer Name - Select this option to generate the customer ageing report based on customer name in alphabetical order within the Customer Group.

  • Customer Code – Select this option to generate the customer ageing report based on customer code in descending order within the Customer Group.

The system displays the field as “Customer Code” by default.
