Setting options for DCube
You can set the options required for DCube views.
Select the “DCube Settings” link under the “DCube” business component.
The “DCube Settings” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Default Display Row Count for View Result Grid |
The number of rows that are to be displayed in the view result grid (Integer). Mandatory. |
Maximum Display Row Count for Chart |
The maximum number of rows that are to be displayed in the view chart (Integer). Mandatory. |
Retain Period For Session Data, in Minutes |
The duration for which DCube should retain the user-specific information internally (Integer). Mandatory. |
Check one of the following boxes:
Display Hidden Columns in Filter Conditions |
Check this box to display all the columns, including the hidden columns, in the “Column Alias” drop-down list box, for setting the filter conditions. The “Column Alias” drop-down list box appears in “Specify Filters”, “Define Data Alarms”, “Define Horizontal Partitions” and “Dynamic Filters” pages. |
Enable View Rights |
Check this box to enable view rights. |
Note: If the “Enable View Rights” check box is unchecked, the system allows you to view all the columns in the view result, irrespective of the option set in the “Set View Rights” activity.
Track View Usage |
Check this box to track the usage of the view. |
Perform View Consistency Check With Table Schema |
Check this box to verify consistency of the structure of the view definition with the table structure. |
Note: If the “Perform View Consistency Check With Table Schema” check box is checked, the system notifies the nature of the inconsistency between the view and the table structure, if the table structure is modified after view definition.
Enter the following fields:
Audit Database/User: |
The name of the audit database/user associated with audit views (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory. |
Report Database/User: |
The name of the report database/user associated with the report views (Alphanumeric, 255). Mandatory. |
Click the “Check Deployment Views” pushbutton to verify that deployment views are available for the application.
Click the “Save” pushbutton to store the DCube settings.
