This page allows you to search for a child view/column based on a view name or column name. Alternatively, the existing views or columns can be searched without specifying any search criteria. The search results appear in the multiline and the required view/column can be selected.
Click the lens icon next to the “Child View” field in the “Configure Drill Down” page.
The “Help On Child View and Column” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a view/column. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
View Name |
The name of the view (Alphanumeric, 100). You can enter the view name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the views with the name entered here. |
View Display Name |
The name of the view, as it appears in the view output (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the views with the display name entered here. |
View Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the view type. The system lists the following options: § Adhoc – Select this option to retrieve adhoc views. § Audit – Select this option to retrieve audit views. § Report – Select this option to retrieve report views. The system retrieves the views with the type entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the views, irrespective of the view type. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the available views/columns.
The system displays the following fields in the “Available Child Views” multiline:
Child View |
The name of the child view. |
Child View Column |
The name of the column in the child view. |
Check the box in the "Select" column of the multiline to mark the view/column required.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
