Maintaining Crew Duty Activity information
Select the “Maintain Crew Duty Activity Info.” link under the “Crew Information” business component.
The “Maintain Crew Duty Activity Info.“ page appears:
To retrieve employee details
Enter the following under the “Employee Details” group box.
Employee Code |
The unique identification code of the employee for which you want to record duty / activity information. Help facility available |
The “Employee Details” group box displays the following for the specified employee.
Employee Name |
The name of the employee for which you want to record duty / activity information. |
Job Family |
The job family to which the employee belongs. |
To retrieve flight records
Enter the filters in the “Search Criteria” group box to retrieve flight records of employees.
Date Range |
The start and end dates of the period from which you want to retrieve records. |
Search On |
Use the drop-down list box to select the entity based on which you wish to retrieve records. The drop-down list box displays the following: Aircraft reg. #, model and Ref. Doc #. In the adjacent input box, enter the unique identifier for the entity selected in the previous drop-down list. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The “Employee Flight Hours” multiline displays available details from the retrieved records. Additionally, you can create new records or update existing records in the multiline.
To record / update flight records
Note: You can modify the Flight Hours and Remarks fields alone, if Ref. Doc. Type of the record is Journey Log.
Enter the following in the “Employee Flight Hours” multiline
Ref. Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the reference document from which the flight details for the employee have been retrieved and displayed here. The drop-down list box displays the following: Other Reference, EFB Flight Sheet and Journey Log. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The unique identifier of the reference document from which the flight details for the employee have been retrieved and displayed here. If you are manually creating flight records, enter the unique identifier for the reference document. |
Date |
The date of the reference document from which the flight details for the employee have been retrieved and displayed here. |
From Station |
The station from which the flight commenced journey. |
To Station |
The station at which the flight ended journey. |
Aircraft Reg. # |
The aircraft that undertook the flight. Help facility available |
Aircraft Model |
The model of the aircraft that undertook the flight. Help facility available |
Flight Hours |
The flight hours flown during the flight journey / according to journey log . |
Remarks |
Additional details of the flight journey. |

The source of the flight information. This field displays ‘SYSTEM’ for records with Ref Doc Type as “Journey Log” or EFB Flight Sheet. |

The login user who most recently changed the details of the flight record. This field displays ‘SYSTEM’ for records with Ref Doc Type as “Journey Log” or EFB Flight Sheet. |

The date on which the login user most recently changes the flight record. |

Click the “Save Flight Hours” pushbutton.
To retrieve and update Duty / Activity records
Select the required record in the “Employee Flight Hours” multiline.
Click the “Get Duty Activity Details” pushbutton to display duty and activity details for the selected record in the “Duty and Activity Details” multiline.
The “Duty and Activity Details” multiline displays available details for existing records. However, you can also create new duty and activity records in this multiline.
Specify the following in the “Duty and Activity Details” multiline.
Ref. Doc. # |
The reference document from which the flight details of the employee have been retrieved and displayed in the multiline. |
The “Duty and Activity Details” multiline displays the following details:
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the reference document, such as EFB Flight Sheet, Other Reference or Journey Log. |
Specify the following in the “Duty and Activity Details” multiline.
Duty / Activity Code |
The unique identifier of the duty / activity carried out by the employee. |
The “Duty and Activity Details” multiline displays the following details:
Entity Type |
The type of the job carried out by the employee, such as Activity or Duty. |
Description |
The description of the duty / activity carried out by the employee. |
Specify the following in the “Duty and Activity Details” multiline.
Value |
The quantum of the duty / activity carried out by the employee. |
