Help On Optional Parameter

This page helps you to search and select an optional parameter value for transferring the details to the field where it is required.

• Click the lens icon positioned next to the  “Value” in the main page.

  Note: The option parameter can be one of the parameters predefined in the system. Refer to "Option Parameter" field description given below, for a complete list of predefined option parameters.

The “Help On Optional Parameter” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Note: The system retrieves only those option parameters that are in “Active” status.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

The system displays the following “Optional Parameter Value” and “Description” in the multiline for the corresponding “Option Parameter” selected in the header:

• If the “Option Parameter” is “UOM”  then the system displays the UOM Code as the “Optional Parameter Value” andUOM Description as the “Description”  by retrieving these information from the UOM Administration business component .

• If the “Option Parameter” is “Stock Status”  then the system displays the  Stock Status Code as the “Optional Parameter Value” and Stock Status Description as the “Description” by retrieving these information from the “User Defined Stock Status” business component .

• If the “Option Parameter” is “Preferred Carrier”  then the system displays the Preferred Carrier Code as the “Optional Parameter Value” and Preferred Carrier Description as the “Description” by retrieving these information from the “Common Master” business component .

• If the Option Parameter is  "Pay Term" then the system displays the Pay Term Code  as the Option Parameter Value and Pay Term Description as the  Description by retrieving these information from the Pay Term Business Component

• If the “Option Parameter” is “Sale Purpose”  then the system displays the Sale Purpose Code as the “Optional Parameter Value” and Sale Purpose as the “Description”  by retrieving these information from the “Category” business component .

• If the “Option Parameter” is “Freight Billable Y/N”  is set as “Y” then the system displays “Yes” as the Optional Parameter Value and “Yes” as the “Description”  and if “Freight Billable Y/N”  is set as “N” the system displays “No” as the Optional Parameter Value and “No” as the “Description

• If the “Option Parameter” is “Receipt Method”  then the system displays “Receipt Method Code” as the “Optional Parameter Value” and “Receipt Method Description” as the “Description” by retrieving these information from the “Bank Cash Definition” business component .

• Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the option parameter value.

•   Click the “OK” pushbutton.
