Help on Cost Center Entry Point

This Help page allows you to search and select a cost center / unit that forms a part of the cost center structure and transfer the details to the field where it is required.

You can carry out a search by specifying the range of cost center / unit that you want to retrieve and the description of the cost center / unit. You can also search by specifying the range of levels that you want to retrieve. The system retrieves the “Group” cost center / units. The selected cost center / unit is transferred to the required page, when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Entry Point” field.

The “Help on CC Entry Point” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a cost center / unit:

Cost Center / Unit From

The starting code in the range of cost center / unit codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 40).

Note: The code entered in this field must be before or the same as the code entered in the “To” field.

To	The ending code in the range of cost center / unit codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 40).

The system displays the following:

Cost Center Structure ID

The code identifying the cost center structure.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Description	A description of the cost center / unit (Alphanumeric, 40).
	Zoom facility available
Level From	The starting number in the range of numbers that identify the hierarchy level in which the cost center / unit that you want to retrieve is available in the structure (Integer).

Note: The number entered in this field must be before the number entered in the “To” field.

To	The ending number in the range of numbers that identify the hierarchy level in which the cost center / unit that you want to retrieve is available in the structure (Integer).

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the cost center / unit details.

The system displays the following in the “Cost Center / Unit Details” multiline:

Note: The system retrieves all the “Group” cost centers based on the search criteria entered.

Entry Point	The code identifying the cost center / unit.
Description	The description of the cost center / unit.
Level	The level in which the cost center / unit is available in the cost center structure.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a cost center / unit.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
