Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

This page allows you to activate a cost element structure. You can activate a cost element structure that is in the “Inactive” status. The system updates the status of the structure as “Active”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified structure details.

This page also allows you to inactivate a cost element structure. You can inactivate a cost element structure that is in the “Active” status. The system updates the status of the structure as “Inactive”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified structure details.

The “Activate / Inactivate Cost Element Structure” page appears.

The system displays the following:

CE Structure ID

The code identifying the cost element structure.

Description

A textual description of the cost element structure.

Status

The status of the cost element structure. It must be “Active” or “Inactive”.

The system displays the following in the “Structure Details” multiline:

Row ID

The number identifying each node in the structure.

Type

The type of the node. It could be “Element” or “Header”.

 
  • Element – indicates a node that has a single or multiple cost elements defined below it in the structure.

 
  • Header – indicates a node that has a group of nodes defined below it in the structure.

Description

A textual description of the type of the structure.

Cost Element From

The starting code in the range of cost element codes that has been mapped to the node.

To

The ending code in the range of cost element codes that has been mapped to the node.

Variable

The code identifying the variable.

Reverse

Indicates whether parentheses would be printed while taking a report of the cost elements available in the selected row. It could be “Yes” or “No”.

Round Off

Indicates the value to which the decimal must be rounded off while printing report. It could be "0.1", "0.01", "1", "10", "100" or "1000".

Print

Indicates whether the details pertaining to the node must be printed while taking a report. It could be “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following in the “Formula Details” multiline:

After Row ID

The number identifying the row after which the formula result must be printed.

Formula ID

The code identifying the formula.

Description

The description of the formula.

Formula Content

The expression in the formula.

Reverse

Indicates whether parentheses would be printed along with the formula while taking a report. It could be “Yes” or “No”.

Round Off

Indicates the value to which the decimal must be rounded off while printing report. It could be "0.1", "0.01", "1", "10", "100" or "1000".

Print

Indicates whether the formula details must be printed while taking a report. It could be “Yes” or “No”.
