Viewing activity cost element mapping with cost center

This page allows you to view the mapping between a detail cost center and activity cost elements. You can enter the code identifying the cost center for which you want to view the mapping details of the cost elements. You can view the properties that have been defined for the mapping. You can also view the code identifying the budget from which the standard rates are taken. You can also view the details of the various alternate rates defined for the cost center – cost element mapping.

Select the “View Activity Cost Element Mapping” link at the bottom of the “View Normal / Allocation Cost Element Mapping” page.

The “View Activity Cost Element Mapping” page appears.

Enter the following field:

Cost Center	The code identifying the detail cost center for which you want to view the mapping with activity cost elements (Alphanumeric, 10).
	Press <Enter> key.
	The system retrieves and displays the mapping details of the cost center.
	Help facility available

The system displays the following:

Description	The description of the cost center.
Basic Activity Element	The code identifying the basic activity element. At least one cost element must be specified as basic activity element to facilitate flexible budgeting.

The system displays the following in the “Activity Cost Element Details” multiline:

Cost Element	The code identifying the cost element.
Description	The description of the cost element.
Effective Date	The date from which the mapping between the cost center and cost element is effective.
Expiry Date	The date till which the mapping between the cost center and cost element is effective.
Behavior	Indicates the behavior of the mapping between cost center and the cost element. It could be “Fixed Cost” or “Variable Cost”.
Budget No	The code identifying the MAC budget.
Default Rate	Indicates whether a default rate is applicable for the mapping.
Standard Rate	The rate to be used for estimating a particular production activity performed by the cost center.
Alt Rate	The alternate rate that can be used for estimating a particular production activity performed by the cost center.

Note: Eight alternate rates will be available for every cost center – cost element mapping.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the mapping.
Created Date	The date on which the mapping was created.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the mapping.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the mapping was last modified.
