Activate / Inactivate Cost Element – A summary of the activity

You can search and select the cost element that you want to activate or inactivate. If you know the code identifying the cost element you can enter it directly.  Otherwise, you can carry out a search by specifying the type of cost element and a range of cost elements that you want to retrieve. You can also search by specifying the login ID of the user. The system retrieves the details of the cost elements based on the search criteria entered.

You can activate a cost element that is in the “Inactive” status. The system updates the status of the cost element as “Active”. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modified details.
