Associate Inter BU Cost Center / Elements – A summary of the activity

The two business units must be available in the same installation. The cost centers and cost elements are mapped to generate consolidated reports for both the business units. You can map cost centers and cost elements of one business unit to another provided the identification details are the same in both the business units.

This page gives you the facility to map the cost center / cost elements available in the login business unit and the selected business unit automatically. The system maps the cost center / cost element that have the same identification details. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the mapping details.

This page also allows you to map cost centers or combination of cost center – cost elements available in the source business unit to cost centers or combination of cost center – cost elements available in the target business unit. You can retrieve the source and target cost centers or cost elements by carrying out a search or by using the provided help facility. The system maps the selected cost center and cost elements. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the mapping details.
