Invoice Request
Select the “Invoice Request” activity under the “Cost Revenue Plan” business component.
The “Invoice Request” page appears.

Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
Enter the following field in the header:
Invoice Request No |
A unique number of the invoice request. Mandatory |
Request Date |
The date on which the invoice is requested. |
Status |
The status of the invoice request. Display Only |
Request Type |
From the drop-down list box select the type of request for creating invoice. |
Project Code |
A unique code of the project. On Enter, the system displays the project name and related schedules from order book billing schedule of that particular project. |
Project Name |
The name of the project. Display Only |
Project Created OU |
The name of the Organization Unit (OU) in which the project has been created. Display Only |
Finance Book |
From the drop-down list box select the finance book for creating the invoice request. This is Mandatory only on creation of invoice. The combo is loaded with finance book codes as defined for the project created OU in Finance Book Master. |
Invoice Request Numbering Type |
From the drop-down list box select the numbering type for creating the invoice request. The combo is defaulted with numbering type code as defined for the project created OU in Master and Blank. |
Cost Centre Code |
A unique code of the cost centre. |
Customer Code |
From the drop-down list box select the customer code. The system lists the customer code as defined in the Master. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. Display Only |
Customer Order No |
The number identifying the customer purchase order. |
Customer Order Date |
The date on which the customer ordered for the purchase. |
Ship To ID |
From the drop-down list box select the ship to id of the customer order. |
Sales Person Code |
The code of the sales person assigned for the purchase order. |
Project Currency |
The name of the currency defined in the project. |
Invoice Currency |
From the drop-down list box select the currency for the invoice request. |
Billing Address |
The address of the customer to which the billing is to be made. |
Shipping Address |
The customer address to which the items are to be shipped. |
The system displays the following details in “Billing Details” multiline.
Line No. |
The unique line number identifying the line details for a given invoice request. |
Bill Sch Sl.No. |
The unique serial number identifying each row of the billing schedule. |
Billing Milestone |
The unique number identifying the billing milestone. |
Item Type |
The type of item as specified in the billing. |
Enter the following field details in “Billing Details” multiline:
Usage ID |
From the drop-down list box select the usage id for billing the invoice. |
Schedule Desc |
The detailed description of the billing schedule. |
Milestone Amount |
The amount of the milestone which is to be defaulted as unit price. Display Only |
Service Mgmt Dt |
The milestone completion date. |
Qty |
The total number of quantity in billing schedule. |
UOM |
From the drop-down list box select the UOM for the quantity of items specified in the request. |
Unit Price |
The rate/price for a specific item. For any data row, the unit price should not be left blank and should be greater than or equal to zero. |
Invoice Amount |
The total amount for the invoice request. |
Invoice Date |
The date on which the invoice request is raised. |
Invoice Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the invoice. |
Internal Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the internal process for raising the request. |
The system displays the following details in “Billing Details” multiline.
Invoice Number |
The unique number identifying the invoice request. |
Invoice Status |
The status of the invoice. |
Reverse Invoice No. |
The unique number identifying the reverse invoice. |
Reverse Invoice Date |
The date on which the invoice is reversed. |
Reverse Invoice Reason |
The detailed explanation for reversing the invoice. |
Reverse Invoice Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the reversal of invoice. |
Previous Invoice No. |
The previous invoice number of the request. |
Enter the following field details in “Billing Details” multiline:
Billing Status |
From the drop-down list box select the status of the billing. The combo is loaded with the values “Open”, “Cancelled” and “Completed” as options. |
Exchange Rate |
The exchange rate for the billing currency. |
The system displays the following details in “Billing Details” multiline.
Bill Date From |
The starting date from which the billing is made. |

The ending date until which the billing is made. |

PO/SOW No. |
The unique number identifying the Purchase Order/Statement of Work. |

PO/SOW Date |
The date on which the PO/SOW document is created. |

Contract No |
The unique number identifying the contract created for the purchase order. |

Contract Date |
The date on which the contract is created. |

Attach Doc |
To attach the document, click the folder icon. The system displays “Upload File” popup window.

The file name of the attached document. |

Finance Book |
The unique code identifying the finance book which is mapped to the invoice request. |
Enter the following field details:
Authorization Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the authorization of invoice request. |
Cancellation Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the cancellation of invoice request. |
Click “Save” pushbutton to save the invoice request details.
Click “Submit” pushbutton to submit the invoice request details.
Click “Authorize” pushbutton to authorize the invoice request details.
Click “Cancel” pushbutton to cancel the invoice request details.
Click “Create Invoice” pushbutton to create invoice request.
To proceed do the following
Select “Invoice Request Status” link to view the status of the invoice request.
Select “Order Book – Billing Schedule” link to approve the invoice request along with billing details.
Select “Order Book” link to create an order for the invoice request.
Select “Reverse Invoice” link to reverse the selected invoice request.
Select “Generate and View Credit/Debit Note” link to generate and view the credit/debit note for the invoice.
Select “View Intercompany Invoice Details” link to view the intercompany invoice details.
