How to use the web page

Using online help

The “Employee Costs – Plan Updation” page appears.

*      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Note: Employee Cost – Initial Plan must be created already in order to create the plan updation.

Project Code

The code identifying the project Mandatory.

The system displays the following from the Initial plan of the project on entering the project code:

Project Name

The name of the project.

Currency

The currency of the project.

Onsite Company

The onsite company of the project.

The system displays the following:

Version No.

The version number of the project. The system fetches and defaults 1 as the Version number if the plan updation is made for the first time for the project.

Residual From

The date from which the plan updation for the project is applicable.

To

The date till which the plan updation for the project is valid.

The system displays the following:

Actual Calculated Upto

The actual date up to which the Salary Cost Allocation Engine has been run for the project.

The system displays the following in the “Onsite (Efforts per Person Months)” multiline:

 Grade

The system fetches the grades for which either plan has been set or actual efforts have been recorded in the On-Site ML of the Initial plan for the project.

Residual Efforts

The required residual effort.

Proposed Residual Efforts

The proposed residual effort.

Total Efforts – Previous Plan

The total effort as per the previous plan.

Total Efforts - Actual

The actual total effort. The system fetches the actual efforts of all the employees corresponding to the Grades and Project code from the Timesheet and displays against each grade appropriately.

Efficiency Factor

The efficiency factor of the employee. Mandatory. The efficiency factor should be between 1 and 100.

Residual Efforts

The required residual effort. Mandatory.

The system displays the following:

Residual Employee Cost

The Onsite residual employee cost.

 

Actual Efforts

The actual efforts.

Total Efforts

The total efforts.

Actual Employee Cost

The actual Onsite employee cost as per the Initial plan for the project.

Total Employee Cost

The total employee cost.

The system displays the following in the “Off-Shore” multiline:

 Grade

The system fetches the grades for which either plan has been set or actual efforts have been recorded in the Off Shore ML of the Initial plan for the project.

Residual Efforts

The required residual effort.

Proposed Residual Efforts

The proposed residual effort.

Total Efforts – Previous Plan

The actual infrastructure cost.

Total Infrastructure Cost

The total infrastructure cost.

The system saves the details of the employee cost – updation plan successfully.

The system displays the following in the Data History group box:

Created By

The name of the user who created the employee cost plan.

Created Date

The date on which the employee cost plan was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the employee cost plan.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the employee cost plan was last modified.
