This page allows you create a new standard note ID, provide notes for it and attach it for the document. You can identify the standard note with the unique code and provide a description to it. You can also retrieve the standard note Id defined and attach it to the current document. This page allows you to record the comments or observation regarding the document.

The system updates the login ID of the user to the created by and the system date to the created date if the standard notes Id is created for the first time. The system maintains the modification history if it has been already created.

The “Attach Notes” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the group box:

Document #

The number identifying the documents for which the notes have to be appended.

Status

The status of the document displayed.

Standard Notes Id

The code identifying the standard notes (Alphanumeric, 6). Mandatory. The Id must be valid for the login organization unit.

 

Help facility available.

The system saves the standard notes Id along with the description and the notes details specified.

The system updates the login ID of the user to the created by and the system date to the created date.

Notes

Any observations or remarks pertaining to the document (Alphanumeric, 255).

The system updates the login ID of the user and the system date along with the newly created standard notes id. The system also maintains a history of all the notes attached to the document if it has been already created.
