Selecting voucher for holding and releasing
This page allows you to search and select the voucher for holding or releasing. Tell me more.
Select the “Hold/Release Voucher” link under the “Customer Payment” business component.
The “Select Voucher” page appears.
Enter the voucher number if you are aware of it or carry out the search using the search criteria.
Voucher No. |
The number identifying the customer payment voucher (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Select the “Hold/Release Voucher” link provided alongside to hold or release the voucher number specified.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the voucher. Data entry in the following fields is optional.
Payment Route |
Use the drop-down list box to select the way in which the payment has to be made to the customer. The payment routes available are “Bank”, “Cash”, “PTT” or “Others”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Pay Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the mode in which the payment has to be made to the customer. The various pay modes available are “Check”, “DD”, “Direct Credit”, “Pay Order” and “Cash”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Pay Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency in which the payment is made to the customer. All the currencies mapped to the login organization unit are available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Customer Code From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the customer on whom the receipt has been raised (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the codes in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the receipts that have been raised on customers whose codes are similar to the value entered here. |
To |
The ending code in the range of codes identifying the customer on whom the receipt has been raised (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the codes in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the receipts that have been raised on customers whose codes are similar to the value entered here. |
Payment Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the payment category. The options available for selection are “Regular” and “Deposits”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Voucher No. From |
The starting number in the range of voucher numbers you want to retrieve for modifying its details (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the vouchers that have numbers similar to the value entered here. |
Note: The payment voucher number entered here must be the same or before the number entered in the “To” field.

The ending number in the range of receipt numbers you want to retrieve for modifying its details (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the receipts that have numbers similar to the value entered here. |
User ID |
The login user ID of the person who has raised the payment voucher (Alphanumeric, 30). The system displays the login ID of the user by default on launch of the page. |
Pay Amount From |
The starting amount in the range of amounts for which you want to retrieve vouchers (Decimal). The amount entered must be greater than zero. |
Note: The payment amount entered here must be lesser than or equal to the amount entered in the “To” field.
To |
The ending amount in the range of amounts up to which you want to retrieve payment vouchers (Decimal). The amount entered must be greater than zero. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book. All the finance books mapped to the login organization unit are available for selection. The system displays “All” by default. |
Request Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates within which the requisition for payment to the customer has been made (Date Format). Mandatory. If this field is left blank and the date is specified in the “To” field, then the system retrieves all the vouchers starting from the first voucher in the database till the voucher with request date specified in the “To” field. |
To |
The ending date in the range of dates within which the requisition for payment to the customer has been made (Date Format). The date specified here must be greater than or equal to the date specified in the “Request Date From” field. |
Customer Registered At |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit to which the “Customer” business component has been mapped. The system lists all the organization unit to which the “Customer” business component has been mapped. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Pay Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates in which the payment has to be made to the customer (Date Format). If this field is left blank and the date is specified in the “To” field, then the system retrieves all the vouchers starting from the first voucher in the database till the voucher with pay date specified in the “To” field. |
To |
The ending date in the range of dates in which the payment has to be made to the customer (Date Format). The date specified here must be greater than the date entered in the “Pay Date From” field. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the voucher. You can select “Requested” or “Held” from the list. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the voucher details.

Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer to whom the payment must be made. |
Pay Currency |
The currency in which the payment has to be made. |

The date on which the payment voucher was raised. |

The date on which the payment must be made to the customer. |
Payment Route |
The payment route, which could be “Bank”, “Cash” or “PTT”. |
Pay Mode |
The mode in which the payment must be made which could be “Check”, “DD”, “Direct Credit”, “Pay Order” and “Cash”. |
Payment Category |
The payment category which could be “Regular” and “Deposits”. |
Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book in which the accounting entries are to be posted. |
Customer Registered At |
The organization unit where the “Customer” business components are installed. |
Selecting voucher for holding and releasing – An overview

You can put the vouchers in “Requested” status to “Hold” or release the vouchers in “Held” status. You can directly enter the voucher if you are aware of it or you can carry out the search using the payment route, the mode of payment, the currency of payment, the code identifying the customer, the payment category, the number identifying the voucher, the login ID of the user who created the voucher, the request date and the pay date and the status of the voucher. The system retrieves the vouchers based on the search criteria.
