While you are working in the "Create Competency" or the “Edit Competency” page and you cannot recall the competency class codes, you can launch the “Help on Competency Class” page.

The system displays all the available competency class records in the multiline in the page.

The system fetches the details of the competency class records that you select viz., the competency class code and competency class description, to the corresponding columns in the “Map Competency Class to Competency” multiline in the"Create Competency" or the  “Edit Competency” page.

• Ensure that you are in the"Create Competency" or the “Edit Competency” page.

• Select the help icon in the “Competency Class Code” column of the “Map Competency Class to Competency” multiline.

• The “Help on Competency Class” page appears.

• The system displays the following details at the top of the page.

 

Competency Definition Unit	The organization unit in which the competency component is deployed. Tell me more.
Language	The language in which the user logged in.

• Use the “Select” column in the multiline of the page to select the required competency class record after viewing the details “Competency Class Code” and “Competency Class Description” in the corresponding columns of the multiline

Select	Click the check box corresponding to the competency class record, which you want to select.
Competency Class Code	The unique code of the competency class
Competency Class Description	The unique description of the competency class

• Select the “OK” pushbutton below the multiline.

• The "Create Competency" or the “Edit Competency” page reappears, with the selected competency class records inserted in the corresponding column of the “Map Competency Class to Competency” multiline.

• You can now enter the following fields for these competency classes, in the” multiline: “Weightage” and “Weightage (In %)”.
