This page allows you to attach a tax calendar to other companies. You can select the code identifying the tax year, which is to be attached to other companies. You can attach the tax calendar to the “Main” tax book of the company. The system attaches the tax calendar after ensuring that they are in the chronological order thereby avoiding any overlaps.

The “Attach Tax Calendar” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Year Status

The status of the tax year. It must be “Open”.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Tax Year Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the tax year that you want to attach to the other companies. All the tax years that have been defined for the login company and that are in the “Active” status will be available for selection in the chronological order. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

 The system displays the following:

Description

The textual description of the tax year.

 

Zoom facility available

Start Date

The date on which the selected tax year begins.

End Date

The date on which the selected tax year ends.

The system displays the following in the “Attach to Company” multiline:

Company Name

The name of the other companies that have been defined in the installation.

Note: The system does not display the name of the login company in this multiline.

Main Tax Book ID

The code identifying the “Main” tax book to which the tax year is to be attached.

Note: At least one row must be marked.

The system saves the tax year details along with the selected company and finance book. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the attachment details.

To proceed, carry out the following
