This page allows you to copy the selected reporting account codes to a company. You can select the companies to which the account codes must be copied. The system copies the reporting chart of account along with the account codes. You can enter a unique chart of accounts ID along with the description. The reporting chart of accounts will be copied to the “Main” finance book of the selected company. If the selected reporting chart of accounts has been mapped to an operative chart of accounts, it must be ensured that the operative chart of accounts must be available in the selected company.

The “Copy Reporting Chart of Accounts” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Chart of Accounts ID

The code identifying the reporting chart of accounts.

Description

The textual description of the chart of accounts ID.

 

Zoom facility available

Status

The status of the chart of accounts.

The system displays the following in the “Chart of Accounts Information” multiline:

Company Name

The name of the company.

Parent

The name of the parent company.

Chart of Accounts ID

A unique code identifying the reporting chart of accounts ID (Alphanumeric, 10). Mandatory.

Description

The textual description of the reporting chart of accounts (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

The system displays the following:

Main Finance Book ID

The code identifying the “Main” finance book.

Note: If the selected reporting chart of account has been mapped to an operative chart of accounts, ensure that the operative chart of accounts is available in the company.

The system copies the selected chart of accounts and the account codes to the selected company.
