This page allows you to search for and select the code identifying the usage of a cost center and transfer the same to the main page. You can carry out the search based on the code identifying the cost center usage and its description.
Click the lens icon positioned along the “Usage Id” field.
The “Help on Usage ID” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Usage Id From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 20). |

To |
The ending code in the range of codes identifying the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 20). |
Note: The value entered in this field must be greater than or equal to the value entered in the “Usage Id Form” field.

Usage Short Description |
A short description pertaining to the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Usage Description |
A description pertaining to the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the usage.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Usage Details” multiline:

The code identifying the cost center usage. |

A description pertaining to the cost center usage. |

Usage Short Description |
A short description pertaining to the cost center usage. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark a usage for transfer.
Click “Ok” pushbutton to transfer the usage to the main page.
Note: The system retrieves and displays the usages based on the page from which this help page is launched.
If the “Help on Usage” page is launched from the “Maintain Sale Cost Center Rule Definition” or “Maintain Sale TCD Cost Center Rule Definition”, then all the usages that are applicable on sale and in “Active” status will be retrieved for selection.
If the “Help on Usage” page is launched from the “Maintain Purchase Cost Center Rule Definition” or “Maintain Purchase TCD Cost Center Rule Definition”, then all the usages that are applicable on purchase and in “Active” status will be retrieved for selection.
If the “Help on Usage” page is launched from the “Maintain Inventory Cost Center Rule Definition, then all the usages that are applicable on Inventory and in “Active” status will be retrieved for selection.
