Viewing activity absorption plan

This activity allows you to view the details of the activity absorption plan. You can enter the activity cost element and the rate type for which you want to view the plan details. The system retrieves the details of the absorption plan that have been defined for a unique combination of cost element and rate type.
Select the “View Activity Absorption Plan” link under the “Cost Budget” business component.
The “View Activity Absorption Plan” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Activity Element |
The code identifying the activity cost element (Alphanumeric, 32). Mandatory. The code entered in this field must be a valid activity cost element that has been defined in the “Cost Setup” business component and is in the “Active” status. |

Press the <Enter> key. |

The system retrieves the details of the cost element in the relevant fields. The system also retrieves the plan details in the relevant fields. |

The system displays the following:

Description |
The description of the activity cost element. |
|
Status |
The status of the plan. It could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Enter the following field:

Rate Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of rate of the activity cost element. The standard rate and the alternate rates that have been defined for the cost element in the “Cost Setup” business component will be available for selection. |
The system displays the following in the “Normal Cost Element Details” multiline:

Normal Element |
The code identifying the normal cost element. |
|
Description |
The description of the normal cost element. |
|
Weightage Factor |
The proportion of the weight-age that must be accorded to the cost element. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the activity absorption plan. |

Created Date |
The date on which the activity absorption plan is created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the activity absorption plan. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the activity absorption plan was last modified. |
