Hold / Release Repair Invoice – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to put an invoice on hold that is in the “Authorized” status. You can also release an invoice that is in the “Held” status. You can carry out a search to retrieve the invoices.
An invoice is put on hold to solve any discrepancy that has risen. This discrepancy could be due to price difference or any other technical reasons. An invoice can also be put on hold to prevent the invoice from being adjusted against payment received or a credit document. The s generated when the invoice is authorized is restrained from being executed. The status of the invoice is updated as “Held”.
You can release an invoice that is in the “Held” status, once the discrepancy gets solved and you want to raise the invoice for payment. The payment schedule of the invoice that was restrained will be activated again. The status of the invoice is updated as “Authorized”.
You can view the adjustment details, details of the payment schedule or the payment information (in the case of electronic payments). This activity also allows you to view the summary of the invoice, which includes the receipt and the adjustment information and the account posting information.

What you can do in this activity
