The “Inquire Stock availability to Kit” page appears.

Warehouse #

The warehouse for which you want to know the number of kits that can be assembled with the currently available constituent parts, Mandatory. The warehouse that you specify must be valid as defined in the Stock Administration component.

Ownership

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of ownership of the kit part The drop-down list box displays the following: Customer and Internal. By default, the ownership is set to “Internal”.

Ownership #

The owner of the kit part.

This field is mandatory, if you have selected Ownership as “Customer”.

The customer that you have specified must be valid as defined in the Customer component.

Part #

The kit part of which you want to find the availability in the warehouse, Mandatory.

The part type of the part must be “Kit” as defined in the interacting Part Administration component.

Reqd. No. of Kits

The requisite quantity of the kit part.

Stock Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the stock status of the requisite kit part, Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays all the active stock statuses related to the ownership as defined in interacting UDSS component.

Condition

Use the drop-down list box to select the condition of the requisite kit part. The drop-down list box displays the following: New, Serviceable and Overhauled.

By default, the condition of the requisite kit part is set to “New”.

Constituent Stock Status

Use the drop-down list to select the requisite stock status of constituents of the kit part. The drop-down list box displays the following: Any Stock Status and Kit Stock Status.

By default, stock status is set to “Any Stock Status”.

Constituent Part Condition

Use the drop-down list box to select the condition of the requisite kit part. The drop-down list box displays the following: Any Condition and Kit Part Condition.

By default, the condition of the requisite kit part is set to “Any Condition”.

Min. Expected Shelf Life

The least estimated shelf life of the constituent part of the kit part, in days.

The “Kit feasibility” .group box displays the following.

# of Kits feasible

The number of kits that can be assembled with the constituent parts that are currently available in the warehouse. However, the system takes into consideration only those parts with attributes that you have specified in the “Picking Options – Constituent Parts” group box, for building kits.

The “Kit Constituent Details” multiline displays the following.

Part #

The part number of the constituent of the kit part.

Part Description

The description of the constituent part of the kit.

Required Qty

The sum total  of the constituent part essential for the required number of kits.

Available Qty

The total available quantity of the constituent part in the warehouse for the require number of kits.

Shortage Qty

The deficit quantity of the constituent part in the warehouse for the required number of kits.

Alternate Qty

The quantity of the alternate part of the constituent part and/or the quantity of the constituent part with the alternate stock status available in the warehouse to offset the shortage of the constituent part. This field displays ‘0’, if alternates are not allowed for the constituent part or if the shortage quantity is ‘0’.

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement of the constituent part of the kit.

Part Type

The part type of the constituent part, such as component, Kit,

Mfr. Part #

The manufacturer part # of the constituent part of the kit.

Mfr. #

The manufacturer # of the constituent part of the kit.
