In this page, you can record the consumption details of backflushed parts that are "Serial Controlled” or “Lot Controlled”. Tell me more

The “Record Serial / Lot Controlled B/F Part Info.” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Work Order Details” group box:

Visit Package #

The visit package to which the work order is associated.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the visit package is applicable.

Work Order #

The work order for which the serial/lot details are to be entered for backflushed parts.

Job Type

The job type of the work order, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.

Work Center #

The work center to which the work order is associated.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number. The system retrieves only those line numbers that are associated with serial-controlled and lot-controlled backflushed parts, from the “Line #” field of the “Part Consumption Details” multiline in the “Record Backflushed Part Information” page. Leave this field blank to retrieve backflushed part details for all the line numbers.

The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse associated to the backflushed part.

Part #

The number identifying the backflushed part consumed.

Part description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

Qty.

The consumed quantity of the backflushed part.

Serial #

The serial number of the backflushed part (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the value entered is valid with respect to the part number displayed in the “Line Details” group box.

Lot #

The lot number of the backflushed part (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure that the value entered is valid with respect to the part number displayed in the “Line Details” group box.

Qty.

The consumed quantity of the serial-controlled or lot-controlled backflushed part (Integer). Ensure that this field is not left blank and the value entered is positive. By default the system displays the value “1”.

Note: Ensure that the sum of the values entered in this field for all the rows in the multiline, is not greater than the quantity displayed in the “Line Details” group box.

WH - Zone #

The number identifying the zone of the warehouse associated to the backflushed part (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the value entered is valid with respect to the warehouse specified in the “Warehouse #” field displayed in the “Line Details” group box. Also ensure that this field is left blank if the warehouse is of “Free Warehouse” type.

Bin #

The number identifying the bin associated to the backflushed part (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the value entered is valid with respect to the warehouse specified in the “Warehouse #” field displayed in the “Line Details” group box. Also ensure that this field is left blank if the warehouse zone is of “Free Zone” type.

Condition

The condition of the backflushed part.

Expiry Date

The expiry date for the backflushed part.

Recording serial number and lot number details for backflushed parts – An overview

In this page, you can record the consumption details of backflushed parts that are “Serial Controlled” or “Lot Controlled”. You can select the line number of the corresponding backflushed part, to enter the serial/lot details.

The system displays the serial number and lot number details of the backflushed part that was issued for the work order or task, and you can enter the quantity of part consumed. The system updates the serial/lot details for the backflushed part consumed for the work order or task.
