Reallocating materials issued
In this page, you can record the material issue details for the parts that have been utilized for the work order execution. Tell me more.
Select the “Re-allocation of Materials Issued” link at the bottom of the “Record Parts Consumption Information” page.
The “Re-allocation of Materials Issued” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part that is being re-allocated. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available. |
Part Type |
The type of the part. |
Part Control Type |
The type of part control. |
The system displays the following in the “Material Request Details” group box:
Visit Package # |
The visit package to which the work order is associated. |
Title |
The description of the visit package. Zoom facility available, |
Work Order # |
The work order for which material issue details are to be recorded. |
Task # |
The task for which material issue details are to be recorded. |
Enter the following field:
Material Request # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the material request number. The system lists all the material requests that have already been issued for the part, across the work orders/tasks belonging to the same visit package. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the issue details corresponding to the material request selected.
The system displays the following in the “Material Issue Details” multiline:
Ref. Document Type |
The reference document type, which could be “Hangar Work Order” or “Visit Package”. |
Ref. Document # |
The number specifying the hangar work order or visit package. |
Task # |
The task for which material issue details are to be recorded. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for the part. |
Requested Qty |
The quantity of the part requested. |
Issued Qty |
The quantity of the part issued. |
Consumed Qty |
The quantity of the part consumed. |
Pending Consumption Quantity |
The quantity of the part pending for consumption. |
Enter the following fields:
Additional Qty |
The additional quantity of the part, if required (Integer). Ensure that the value entered is positive and is less than or equal to the pending consumption quantity. |
Remove Quantity |
The quantity of the part not required for consumption in the current work order (Integer). Ensure that the value entered is positive and is less than or equal to the pending consumption quantity. |
Note: Ensure that the sum of the values entered in the “Additional Qty” field for all the rows in the multiline, is equal to the sum of the values entered in the “Remove Quantity” field.
The system displays the following:
Pending Issue Qty |
The quantity of the part pending for issue. The system displays the difference between the requested and the issued quantities. |
Warehouse # |
The warehouse associated to the part. |
Click the “Edit Reallocation” pushbutton to update the material issue details.
On re-allocation of material issue, the system performs the following:
4 Against every unit in the “Additional Qty” field, the system increments the issued quantity by one and decrements the pending issue quantity by one.
4 Against every unit in the “Remove quantity” field, the system increments the pending issue quantity by one and decrements the issued quantity by one.
4 Updates the reference document type, reference document number, task number, UOM, additional quantity, remove quantity, re-allocation date and the login user, in the re-allocation history.
4 Updates the pending consumption quantity as given below:
Existing Pending Consumption Quantity + Additional Quantity – Remove Quantity.
Reallocating materials issued – An overview
In this page, you can record the material issue details for the parts that have been utilized for the work order execution. You can select the material request that has already been issued for the part across the work orders in the visit package, to record the material issue details.
The system displays the number of parts consumed, requested, issued and pending for consumption. The system also displays the warehouse associated to the part. You can enter any additional quantity of the part if required. You can also specify the quantity of part to be removed.
