Modifying hangar work reporting quick codes
This activity allows you to modify the details of the quick codes that are already defined.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Hangar Work Reporting” business component.
The “Edit Quick Code Information” page appears.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a quick code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the option “Delay Category”. The system lists all the quick codes that are of the type specified here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Enter the following fields to modify the quick code details:
Description |
The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code to either “Active” or “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” to disable the quick code from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following fields:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the quick code information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the quick code for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the marked quick codes.
Click the “Edit Quick Code” pushbutton to update the modified quick codes.
Activate or inactivate the quick code
Activate or inactivate the quick code
You can inactivate a quick code that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.
Set the “Status” field to “Inactive”.
The system updates the status of the quick code to “Inactive”.
