This page allows you to view the loading details of the selected employee. Tell me more.

The “View Employee Loading” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Employee Details” group box:

Employee #

The employee for whom the loading details are displayed.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Reference Date

The starting date from which you wish to view the loading details for the employee (Date Format).

The system retrieves in the multiline, the work centers to which the employee is attached and the utilization of the employee as a percentage for each day starting from the date entered in the “Reference Date”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Loading Details in Percentage” multiline:

Work Center #

The work center to which the employee is attached.

Day 1 … Day 15

The percentage of utilization of the employee on each day starting from the date specified in the “Reference Date” field. The loading is calculated as follows:

 
  • The number of hours for which the employee is available in the day.

  • The total number of hours for which the employee is actually assigned to the work center is retrieved from the “Assign Work Order / Task(s)” page in the “Assign Employees To Work Order(s)” activity.

The loading is then calculated using the following formula:

Employee Loading = (Assigned hours of the employee * 100) / (Available Hours of the employee * Productivity factor).

Note: Productivity factor is the number that indicates the efficiency of the employee that is specified in the “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity of the “Work Center” business component. The productivity factor is assumed as ‘1’ if it is not already specified for the employee.

Viewing employee load for a work order – An overview

This page allows you to view the loading details of the selected employee. Employee loading refers to the utilization of the employee in a day during the execution of the WO task or the work order. The loading is specified in percentage and calculated as follows:

Employee Loading

(Assigned hours of the employee * 100 )

/

(Available Hours of the employee * Productivity factor)

Note: Productivity factor is the number that indicates the efficiency of the employee that is specified in the “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity of the “Work Center” business component. The productivity factor is assumed as ‘1’ if it is not already specified.

In this page, the employee loading details are calculated with respect to the work center to which the employee is attached. You can enter the reference date from which the loading details must be viewed.

Note: You can view the details only for 15 days at a time.
