In this page, you can view the details of the repair shops that are authorized for performing the repair work on the part. Tell me more.

The “View Authorized Repair Shop” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following details in the "Agreement Details" group box:

Agreement #

The part warranty agreement to which the authorized repair shop details are displayed.

Amendment #

The number identifying the amendment made to the part warranty agreement.

Supplier #

The supplier for which the part warranty agreement is created.

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier.

Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the part to which the authorized repair shop details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). The system lists the value “All” if the “Agreement Coverage” drop-down list box is set as “Parts Catalogue”. Else the system lists all the part numbers that are associated to the part warranty agreement; along with the value “All”.

By default  the system displays “All”.

The system displays the following field:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following fields in the "Repair Shop Details" multiline:

Warranty Type

The warranty type for the part which could be one of the following:

 
  • New - indicates that the supplier gives the warranty.

 
  • OEM - indicates that the OEM gives the warranty.

 
  • Overhaul - indicates that the supplier has given for the warranty for overhaul.

 
  • Repair - indicates that the supplier has given the warranty for repair.

 

  • Mod - indicates that the warranty is given for modifications

 

  • Ultimate Life – indicates that the warranty is given for the entire life of the component.

Repair Shop #

The code identifying the repair shop that is authorized to perform repair work on the part.

Repair Shop

The name of the repair shop.

Address ID

The Address ID of the repairs shop

City

The name of the city where the repair shop is located.

State

The name of the state to which the repair shop belongs.

Country

The name of the country to which the repair shop belongs.

Remarks

Viewing authorized repair shop details - An overview

View Part Warranty Agreement – A summary of the activity

 The suppliers that are identified as "Repair Agency" in the "Supplier" business component can be termed as "Repair Shop". The repair shops are already associated to the part warranty agreement in the "Create Part Warranty Agreement" activity.

You can select a part number associated to the part warranty agreement and view the repair shop details. The system displays the details such as warranty type, repair shop number, repair shop, city, state and country where the shop is located and remarks in the multiline.
