This page deals with editing component warranty quick notes. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Warranty” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code type to which the quick code belongs. The system lists the options "Warranty Category”, “User Status - Part Warranty Agreement", "Agreement Category", "User Status - Warranty Claim", "Claim Category" "Suggested Action", "Remedy" and “Reject Reason", “Agg User Option – 1”, “Agg User Option – 2”, “Agg User Option – 3” ” "Agg User Option - 4", "Claim User Option - 1", "Claim User Option - 2", "Claim User Option - 3", "Claim User Option – 4”, "MRO Warranty Category", "MRO Warranty User Status", "MRO Warranty Program Type".The system retrieves all the quick codes of the type specified here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system lists the options, “Active” and “Inactive”. This field is set to “Active” by default. The system retrieves all the quick codes of status specified here. Leave the field blank to retrieve quick codes irrespective of their status. |
Note: If all the above fields are left blank, the system lists all the quick codes that are created.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

The quick code retrieved by the system. |
Enter the following field:
Description |
The modified textual description for the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. This field should not be left blank. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system lists the options, “Active” and “Inactive”. This field is set to “Active” by default. |
Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable this quick code from future reference in other activities.
The system displays the following fields:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the quick code. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Click the “Edit Quick Codes” pushbutton, to update the modified details of the quick codes.
