Viewing part types mapped to UDSS

This page allows you to view the part types that are mapped to the UDSS. Tell me more

Select the “Part Type Mapping” link at the bottom of the “View Stock Status” page.

The “Part Type Mapping” screen appears.

The system displays the following

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Enter the following in the “Stock Status Identification Details” group box:

Stock Status

Use the drop down list box to select the UDSS to view the part types mapped to it. All the UDSS created in the “Create Stock Status” activity are listed in the drop-down list box along with “Consignment", “Make WIP”and “PBH”. The system displays the option “Consignment” by default.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the part type mapping details for the selected UDSS.

The system displays the following.

Stock Status Description

A textual description pertaining to the stock status.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Part Type Mapping Details” multiline.

Part Type	The part types that are predefined in the system. The UDSS is mapped to one or more of the predefined part types “Raw material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Consumable”, "Miscellaneous" and “Kit”.
Mapping?	The system displays “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether the part type is mapped to the UDSS or not.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box.

Created by	The login ID of the user who mapped the part type to the UDSS.
Created Date	The date on which the part type was mapped to UDSS.
Last Modified by	The login ID of the user who last modified the part type mapping.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the UDSS was last mapped.

Viewing part types mapped to UDSS – An overview

This page allows you to view the part types that are mapped to the UDSS. On selecting the UDSS, the system displays the description of the UDSS and the part types to which the UDSS is mapped.

The system displays the name of the user who created or last modified the UDSS and the date on which the UDSS was created and last modified.
