This page allows you to enter the serial number and lot number details, based on the line number selected. Tell me more.

The “Serial #/Lot # Details “ page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

 

The system displays the following in the “Stock Transfer Information” group box:

Stock Transfer #

The number identifying the stock transfer number containing parts, which are serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled

From Stocking Point

The organization unit which, issues the stock in the inter warehouse stock transfer

From Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse from where the stock is transferred

To Stocking Point

The organization unit which, receives the stock in the inter warehouse stock transfer.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the stock transfer which contains the part for which you wish to enter the serial or lot number details.

The system displays the following:

Part #

The number identifying the part

Part Control Type

The part control type, which could be serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled.

Preferred Condition

The condition in which the part is preferred

To Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse which receives the stock

Transfer Quantity

The total quantity of the stock transferred

Stock Status

The user-defined stock status of the stock transferred

Lot #

A unique number identifying the lot number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40).  If “From Warehouse #” is “Free” and the part is lot-controlled, the lot number must exist in the specified “From Warehouse #”.

 

If “From Warehouse #” is “Normal” and “WH-Zone #” is ”Free”, the lot number must exist in the specified “WH-Zone #”.

Serial #

A unique number identifying the serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40).  If “From Warehouse #” is “Free” and the part is serial-controlled, the serial number must exist in the specified “From Warehouse #”.

 

If “From Warehouse #” is “Normal” and “WH-Zone #” is ”Free”, the serial number must exist in the specified “WH-Zone #”.

Quantity

The quantity of the stock transfer (Decimal).  Ensure that the total quantity does not exceed the “Transfer Quantity”.  The quantity must be positive and greater than zero.

Note: Fractions can be entered, only if the UOM has been set as “Allow fractions” in the “Create UOM” activity of the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component.

Remarks

Additional comments pertaining to storage information (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: Ensure that the serial number for a part is not repeated in the multiline.

Only if the part is both Lot # and Serial # number-controlled duplication of the Lot # is allowed.

Note: In case the “Convert Document Status To Fresh” box is checked, and if all the mandatory information is not updated, the status of the document will not be updated from “Draft” to “Fresh”.

The system updates the status of the inter warehouse stock transfer document from “Draft” to “Fresh”, only if the “Convert Document Status to Fresh” box is checked and all the mandatory information is entered.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created by

The name of the user who created the inter warehouse stock transfer

Created Date

The date on which the inter warehouse stock transfer  was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the inter warehouse stock transfer

Last Modified Date
