Help on TCD

This page allows you to select a TCD code. You can search for the TCD code by providing search criteria such as the TCD code, TCD variant, TCD type, basis and category

Based on your search criteria, the system retrieves TCD codes, from which you can select a TCD.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “TCD #” field in the main screen.

The “Help on TCD” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a TCD code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

TCD #	The code identifying the TCD. You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the codes that are similar to the values entered here and that are in “Active” status.
TCD Description	The description of the TCD. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the codes that have TCD description similar to the description entered here.
TCD Variant #	The variant of the TCD. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the TCD codes containing variant numbers that are similar to the values entered here. Only TCD codes that are in “Active” status are retrieved.
TCD Variant Description	The description of the variant. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the codes that have variant description similar to the description entered here.
TCD Type	The type of the TCD, which could be “Tax”, “Charge” or “Discount”. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Basis	The basis of TCD computation, which could be “Percentage”, “Unit Rate” or “Flat”. The system leaves the field blank by default.
TCD Category	The category to which the TCD belongs. The system lists all the categories that are created for TCD in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Applied On	The method adopted to compute the TCD amount, which could be “Total Value”, “Basic Value” or "Other TCDs". The system leaves the field blank by default.

Click “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

TCD #

The code identifying the TCD.

Note: The system retrieves the TCD effective as on current date and applicable on “Basic Value” or “Total Value” or any other TCD.

TCD Description	The description of the TCD.
TCD Variant #	The variant of the TCD.
TCD Variant Description	The description of the TCD Variant.
TCD Type	The type of the TCD.
TCD Basis	The basis of TCD computation.
TCD Rate	The rate of the TCD.
TCD Category	The category to which the TCD belongs.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the TCD code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
