Setting document type definitions for maintenance documents
This page allows you to set document type definitions (DTDs) for the maintenance documents.
Select the “Set DTD Options” link under the “Technical Document Interface” business component.
The “Set DTD Options” screen appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appear in this page. The system displays the date format from the “User Preferences” business component. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component. |
Enter the following field in the “DTD Details” multiline:
Manufacturer # |
The number identifying the manufacturer for whom the document type definitions are applicable (Alphanumeric, 45). Mandatory. The manufacturer number entered must be valid as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following field:
Manufacturer Name |
The name of the manufacturer. |
Enter the following fields:
Source Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the source document for which you wish to provide the document type definitions. The system lists the following options:
Do not leave the field blank. The source document type must be unique for the manufacturer number entered. The manufacturer number and source document type combination must be unique in the multiline. |
DTD |
The document type definition (DTD) for the selected source document selected (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory. |
Click the “Set Options” pushbutton to set the document type definitions for the source documents.
The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Set Options” pushbutton:
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the DTD options. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the DTD options were last modified. |
