Maintaining supplier PBH mapping details
In this page, you can map the selected supplier PBH agreement to aircraft or part serial numbers. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain Supplier PBH Mapping” link at the bottom of the “Select Supplier” page.
The “Maintain Supplier PBH Mapping” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Supplier Information” group box:
Supplier # |
The supplier code selected in the previous page. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier corresponding to the supplier code. |
Supplier Type |
The type of the supplier, which could be “Normal” or “Miscellaneous”. |
Supplier Category |
The category of the supplier. |
The system displays the following in the “PBH Contract Details” group box:
Agreement # |
The number identifying the PBH agreement mapped to the supplier. |
Agreement Date |
The date on which the agreement was approved. |
Revision # |
The number identifying the revised PBH agreement mapped to the supplier. |
Revision Date |
The date on which the PBH agreement was revised. |
Effective from |
The start date, in the specified date format, from which the agreement is valid. |
Effective To |
The end date, in the specified date format, until which the agreement is valid. |
Contract Deductible |
The value below which an item will not be covered under PBH. |
Currency |
The code identifying the currency, in which the supplier transacts. |
PBH On |
The name of the component associated with the PBH agreement. |
Enter the following field:
Model |
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model for which PBH mapping details must be recorded. The system displays all the aircraft models defined in the “Aircraft” business component, only if the "PBH On" field is "Aircraft". |
The system displays the following fields for the selected aircraft model:
Manufacturer # |
The code identifying the manufacturer of the aircraft. |
Manufacturer Name |
The name of the manufacturer corresponding to the manufacturer code. |
The system displays the following in the “Aircraft PBH Information” multiline, if the “PBH On” field is set to “Aircraft” in the “Select Supplier” page.
Line # |
The line number generated by the system, for every aircraft registration number listed in the multiline. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number issued by the manufacturer. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
Enter the following field:
Under PBH |
Use the drop-down box and set the field to “Yes” to map the aircraft registration number to the supplier PBH agreement. Set the field to “No” to unmap the aircraft registration number that is already mapped to the supplier PBH agreement. |
Note: If the field is set as “Yes”, ensure that the specified manufacturer serial number of the aircraft is not mapped to any other PBH agreement for any other supplier during the PBH agreement period.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark a record for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the tool bar above multiline, to delete the selected record.
Enter the following field if the “PBH On” field is set to other than “Aircraft” in the “Select Supplier” page:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which PBH mapping details must be recorded (Alphanumeric, 40). The part should be of type "Component" as defined in the “Part Administration“ business component. Help facility available. |
Click the “Get Part PBH Details” pushbutton to retrieve the part serial numbers in the multiline.
Note: The part PBH information will be retrieved only if the “PBH On” field is set to other than “Aircraft” in the “Select Supplier” page.
Note: The PBH information will not be retrieved for the parts of condition “Phased out”.
The system displays the following in the “Part PBH Information” multiline:
Line # |
The line number generated by the system. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Condition |
The condition of the part. |
Stock Status |
The stock status of the part. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
Warehouse # |
The code identifying the warehouse where the part is stored. |
Enter the following field:
Under PBH |
Use the drop-down box and set the field to “Yes”, to map the part serial number to the supplier PBH agreement. Set the field to “No” to unmap the part serial number that is already mapped to the supplier PBH agreement. |
Note: If the field is set to "Yes", ensure that the part is not “Under PBH” in any other agreement for any other supplier, during the specified PBH agreement period.
Note: Ensure that at least one part in the multiline is “Under PBH”.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the part serial number for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the tool bar above multiline, to delete the selected part serial number.
Click the “Record Supplier PBH Details” pushbutton, to store the mapping details for the supplier PBH agreement.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Edit Supplier Part Mapping” link at the bottom of the page to modify the supplier part mapping details.
Maintaining supplier PBH mapping details – An overview
This page allows you to map the selected supplier PBH agreement to aircraft or part serial numbers. You can select the aircraft model for which you wish to retrieve the aircraft registration numbers, or the part number for which you wish to retrieve the part serial numbers, for mapping.
You can map each aircraft registration number or part serial number to the PBH agreement. You can also remove the mapping that is already defined for the aircraft registration number or part serial number.
