The “Inquire Earliest Available Date” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Stocking Location

Use the drop down list box to select the location for which you wish to view the availability details.

EAD Level

Use the drop down list box to select the level at which you wish to view the availability details. The system displays the options “Warehouse” and “Stocking Location”.

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse, (Alphanumeric, 10).  Ensure that warehouse number entered here is already defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component.

Note: Ensure that for the selected warehouse number, reservation is allowed in the “Stock Administration” business component.

The system displays the following field:

Warehouse description

The textual description of the warehouse as defined in the “Storage Administration” business component.

Zoom facility available.

  • Enter the following in  “Review Details” group box:

Part #

The number identifying the part for which you wish to view the earliest available date (Alphanumeric, 40) Mandatory. Ensure that part number entered here is already defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.

The system displays the following field:

Part Description

The textual description of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Zoom facility available.

  • Enter the following in  “Review Details” group box:

Required Quantity

The quantity of the part required (Alphanumeric, 20) Mandatory.

Required UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is required, (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the UOM entered here is already defined in the “Create UOM” activity of the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component and is in “Active” status.

 

If you leave this field blank, the system displays the UOM in which the part is stocked.

The system displays the following field:

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is stocked.

  • Enter the following in  “Review Details” group box:

EAD Option

Use the drop down list box to select the inquiry option. Mandatory.  The system provides the following options:

 
  • “Single” – Select this option, if you wish to view the earliest date by which the entire quantity of the stock required would be available.

 
  • “Staggered” - Select this option, if you wish to view the various dates on which the stock would be available, and the quantity of stock that would be available on these dates.

The system displays the following in the “EAD Information" multiline:

Warehouse #

The code identifying the warehouse in which the stock would be available. This field is displayed when the “EAD Level” is set to “Warehouse”.

Warehouse Description

The textual description of warehouse.

Earliest Available Date

The earliest date by which the stock would be available in the warehouse. 

Quantity

The quantity of the part that would be available on the “Earliest Available Date” in the warehouse.
